As well, Joni holds master’s degrees in psychology (health psychology emphasis) and natural medicine, and since 1980 has been a Certified Massage Therapist. She works as a wholistic therapist and healer in private practice. Her husband (Kevin), children (Asher, Seva, and Vishu), and dog (Ivy) bring her much laughter and an occasional tear!

Joni’s entire life has been a grand spiritual adventure. As a long-time lover and practitioner of yoga, meditation, sacred dance, and poetry, she feels
blessed and enriched by the many experiences and teachers who have graced
her life. She is currently a whole-hearted and devoted student of meditation
teacher and Sanskrit scholar Dr. Paul Muller-Ortega, Anusara Yoga founder
John Friend, and sacred dance teacher Prema Dasara.
