Discover techniques to unravel tension in your tissues and reduce tightness in your body. Myofascial release moves along the long fibrous pathways of connective tissue that contract and adhere from habitual movement and posture. Over time, this “cling wrap” of the body can limit range of motion, and contribute to soreness, weakness and pain in the body. Myofascial release aims to relax muscles and improve blood flow and lymphatic circulation. With the use of props, you will learn to apply gradual and sustained pressure to release the connective tissue, walking away with simple but effective knowledge so that you can apply these techniques on your own at home.
