Laura Fallon is our highlighted teacher for February! $5 Cash Drop-In Rate

Laura has been teaching yoga since 2002.  She is certified through Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level with Noah Maze and is a certified Bikram instructor.  These trainings as well as studying numerous other styles of yoga and an outdoor life exploring the mountains and rivers of the world gives Laura a wealth of experiences she can draw from as she guides you through any session, class, or workshop.

“Yoga is for everyone, there is no experience or particular skills necessary to begin or maintain a practice. Yoga is a lot simpler and more powerful than you might imagine.”

As a teacher of people with all levels of practice, Laura creates a safe, fun space where you can bring your personal yoga practice to the next level.  With a focus on proper alignment, she will give you the information you need to challenge yourself, finding the strength and flexibility in your body and mind that you may not even realize is there, yet.

Laura has called Flagstaff home since 2014.  When not in the yoga room she is outdoors exploring the incredible landscape around us.

The following class will be available for a $5 drop-in rate during the month of February:

Full Moon Yoga Nidra and Gong Meditation w/ Marci Sheer and Judy Springer, March 2

Join Marci Sheer and Judy Springer on Artwalk Friday for a calming full moon yoga nidra followed by a deeply relaxing gong meditation. Please wear loose-fitting clothing or pajamas and bring a sleeping bag or blanket and pillows for a most tranquil and peaceful experience.

Yoga Basics: 4 week series with Laura Fallon, March 1st-March 22nd

This 4 week series will pick up where the Intro to Yoga series leaves off continuing to build the tools needed to deepen your practice of yoga. This format is a safe space to ask questions and get really specific about what is important to you with regard to yoga poses that are presented. A great next step for those who have done the Intro to Yoga Series, recently or a while ago, as well as a place for people of all levels who are looking for specificity, the ability to apply yoga concepts to more and more complex poses, and/or move more skillfully on and off the mat.

-Increase your pose vocabulary and alignment specifics for more complex poses.
-Further your knowledge of the progression of poses and how they relate to YOU.
-Gain confidence and clarity.

Dates: Thursdays, March 1st-March 22nd

Time: 8:00- 9:00am

Kids Yoga AND Yoga for Teen Girls: 8 Week Series w/ Patty Wiley, March-May

Healthy Kids’ Yoga:

An 8-week series for kids ages 9-13. This series will teach your child healthy lifestyle tools including; yoga asana (poses), nutrition, breathing techniques and mindfulness practices. These healthy lifestyle tools can help improve concentration and focus, improve balance and coordination, improve strength and flexibility, boost self-confidence, encourage a feeling of well-being and calm, and so much more. This class will incorporate music, yoga games, art and lots of physical activity to introduce kids to the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle in a fun, nurturing environment.

Dates: Tuesdays, starting on March 6th (skipping March 20th for spring break)

Time: 4-5:00pm

Cost: $74 per series.

*Partial scholarship available for those in need.

Teen Yoga for Girls:

An 8-week series for girls ages 13-17. This series will weave together different elements of holistic living, including; yoga, self-care, nutrition and mindfulness. These applicable tools can help reduce stress, boost self-esteem and self-confidence, improve posture and flexibility, improve concentration, encourage healthy food choices and so much more. Come join other teens and enjoy a yoga class that is challenging but relaxing at the same time.

Dates: Thursdays, starting on March 8th (skipping March 22nd for spring break)

Time: 4-5:00pm

Cost: $74 per series.

Zion Yoga Retreat 2018 with Erin and Abby: April 7-8th

Spend some time this Spring in a special place doing something good for yourself.

Zion – An idealized, harmonious community; utopia

Retreat – The act or process of moving back or away, especially from something hazardous, formidable, or unpleasant: made a retreat from hectic city life to the country.

Yoga sessions led inside the Springdale Community Center, time will be made available for hiking and exploring in the park.

Camping in Zion National Park; Friday-Sunday nights.

Cost: $189

Fee includes:

10 hours of yoga and meditation (Saturday and Sunday)

Camping at Watchman Campground in Zion National Park for Friday-Sunday Nights. One tent per registration. We will have a shared group site. Tents Only.

Additional or Family camping needs may be accommodated by contacting Abby Spotskey directly, or by reserving your own camping through  www.recreation.gov

Cancellations made before March 8th will be refunded at 50%. No refunds will be made for cancellations after March 8th.
